Vocal technique workshop – “An introduction to your voice”

Workshop topic and aims:

The voice is a pretty mysterious instrument, and many musicians and singers don’t actually really know or understand how their voices work – which means that they don’t know how to get consistent results in their singing. This vocal workshop would be an introduction to vocal anatomy with practical exercises to help singers feel and work with their voices. It would include mapping the breath, and understanding the larynx/pharynx (or voice box and throat). Singers would leave with exercises and techniques they can apply to their own music.

“The three C’s of effective songwriting” workshop

Workshop topic and aims:

In this workshop Brett Perkins share tools and tips to help writers achieve greater impact with their songs and objectivity about their songwriting process, with the goal of assisting writers in the evolution of their work from personal expression to effective communication with a wider audience.
